M.S., Education, SUNY Buffalo 2010
Brett has served in many roles at ACDS over the years; he has taught throughout the grades and at one point served in the triple roles of math coordinator, coordinator of the outdoor education program, and student support. Brett enjoys playing the bass, woodworking, boating, traveling, camping, and hiking. He lives in Carbondale with his wife, Nikki, and their three daughters. Brett and Nikki spent four years teaching at Nido de Aguilas, an international IB school in Santiago, Chile.
"I have come to land in Fifth Grade, which is a real meeting point of the academic challenges of upper grades, combined with the fun and excitement of the younger ages," says Brett. "Learning outdoors is an integral part of the ACDS program, and I love spending time outside with my students whether playing, learning, or both."
