#FriendsForever: Fourth Graders forge bonds at Senior Center
Posted 02/20/2018 02:28PM

Back in January, for the ACDS Martin Luther King Day of Service Learning, Fourth Graders made valentines for seniors. On Valentine's Day, they delivered them one by one at a luncheon at the Pitkin County Senior Center. Going from table to table with their special greetings, the students had fascinating conversations and made lots of new friends. "There were some really amazing connections," said teacher Annie Garrett. "Everyone was talking about how they want to see each other again soon." Feel the love in this video on Facebook!
