Summer links for studentsUse the websites listed below to find your summer assignments. If you have any questions about what your teacher expects you to complete by the first day of school, please ask at the office: info@aspencountryday.org or 925-1909. MathScore Students going into Fourth through Eighth Grade next year have assignments to complete on this math site: click here. Students: Log in with the ID you were given (firstname.lastname; the password is school). Go to the appropriate grade level and begin working through the list of topics. Practice math facts 15-20 minutes four times per week. In the fall the teachers can generate reports on what you did, identify areas of strength and weakness, and ensure the content matches your ability. (If you are at camp or unable to get on the internet, see below and order a math review book).
Summer Skills math review books
Students going into First, Second and Third Grade have been given workbooks; these are the traditional summer books you may remember from previous years. Students in older grades who might not have a way to get on MathScore.com over the summer are welcome to order their own math review books from this site. Most families will want to choose the grade level just completed.Click here to order directly from Summer Skills.
Summer Reading Lists
Read every day! Some grades have specific books they are required to read. Every child should read, or be read aloud to, every day of the summer. Click on the grade you are entering in the fall:
